Cecil Cherry Wins STATS FCS National Defensive Player of The Week

The graduate transfer from Frostproof, Florida took home the national defensive player of the week award for his performance in UT Martin's 22-17 win over #18 Jacksonville State. Cherry had a season-high 14 tackles, a game high five quarterback hurries, and picked up two tackles for a loss. He and his teammates will head on the road to take on #24 Austin Peay this weekend.
