With the start of the school year comes the arrival of Flight Crew giveaways. This Tuesday they will be giving away Chris Janson concert tickets for his show in Martin on September 8th.
The giveaway will take place on the UC North Patio on Tuesday, August 30th starting at 11 AM. Students can get up to 2 tickets to the September show in downtown Martin. Students have to be able to show an Event Pass to receive the tickets.
Chris Janson is an American country music singer and songwriter performing at this year's Tennessee Soybean Festival. Janson has three studio albums through Warner Bros. Records Nashville, and has collaborated with Bigger Picture Music Group, Columbia Records, and Warner Bros. Nashville for one extended play on each.
The Tennessee Soybean Festival started in 1994 through the collaboration between the city of Martin and the University of Tennessee at Martin. Since its start, it has hosted tractor rodeos, cheerleading competitions, concerts, and vendors, but has always remained true to its roots of celebrating one of the county's biggest cash crops and local agriculture. The Tennessee Soybean Festival has grown to be the city of Martin's largest tourist attraction and has won many awards over the years, taking home 9 awards in 2019.
