Flight Crew gives away Free T-Shirts

The University of Tennessee at Martin's Flight Crew gave away over 500 free t-shirts in the University Center on October 20 in honor of Homecoming Week.

The Flight Crew is a new organization, and they are trying to find a way to get more students involved along with putting the clubs name out there.

The Flight Crew said anyone who got a free t-shirt had to follow their Instagram. They gained over 300 followers in just a few hours.

They now have a total of 828 followers and hope to reach 1,000 before Thanksgiving break.

"When I walked in to meet up with my fellow Flight Crew members, the line was to the door and it was amazing to see all of those people beat me there", said Andre Parker, LGBT Representative.

"It was good to see a lot of familiar faces and to catch up with friends I haven't been able to see because of COVID-19."

Approximately 95 students were in line fifteen minutes before the event started.
