Impeachment Day Two
Opening arguments are underway in the Senate impeachment trial. According to CNN, House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff and the six other impeachment managers took turns laying out their case, including a highlight reel featuring the President's own words. They say that Trump's impeachable offenses extend past the one phone call.
Coronavirus
At least 17 people have now died as a result of the coronavirus. Wuhan is now under a partial lockdown to slow the spread. A few Olympic qualifying events have also been moved from the city as a precaution. Passengers traveling from Wuhan to the US will soon only be able to land in five US airports, which have additional health screening tools.
Auschwitz Camp Remembrance
More than 40 leaders from around the world are gathering in Jerusalem this week to mark the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp. President Trump and Poland's President Andrzej Duda will be absent.
Super Bowl
One U.S. teen is arguing to get the Super Bowl moved to Saturday, and thousands agree. Frankie Ruggeri created a petition on Change.org saying that, if the big game was moved to Saturday, children would get to enjoy it.
