The Tennessee Department of Health confirmed 739 new cases of COVID-19 across the state Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2020.
The department also confirmed 28 deaths and 1,104 new recoveries.
Weakley County has 115 active cases, the department reported, which is down from Monday's total.
According to the department, Obion County has 139 active cases, which is up from Monday.
The University of Tennessee at Martin confirmed 40 active student cases Tuesday, which is up five cases.
They said one faculty or staff member has the virus.
