After winning all four games of the home stand, the UT Martin Women's Basketball team will take their six game winning streak to Eastern Illinois. This will mark the start of a four game road trip for the Skyhawks who hold a 2-6 record when they play away from the Elam Center.
In the four games at home the Skyhawks outscored opponents by an average of 20 points and shot an impressive 47% from the field. They were led by six time OVC Player of the Week Chelsey Perry, who last week averaged 27.5 points 11.5 rebounds and 5.0 blocks.
UT Martin will have to have one of their best defensive performances of the season when they go up against the Panthers. Eastern Illinois has three players averaging double digits in scoring and shoots 32% from three. Tipoff will be at 5:15 P.M. on Thursday.
