UT Martin won 88 total points and 2 first-place votes, second only to Jacksonville State's 97 points and 8 first-place votes. The Skyhawks tied for the best scoring average in the conference during the fall season, with a lineup that featured 5 of the league's top 20 scorers in stroke average. Senior Jack Story was named OVC Golfer of the Week 3 times in the fall, culminating in winning OVC Golfer of the Month for September after winning two tournaments and finishing inside the top-8 5 times. Junior Nick Wolf followed Story's success by closing out the fall season with four straight top-8 finishes, earning himself the OVC Golfer of the Month award for October. It will mark the 18th and final season for Head Coach Jerry Carpenter who will retire at the end of the season. Under Carpenter's leadership, UT Martin won the OVC in 2016 and successfully built the Rhodes Golf Center on campus. The team will open the 2020 spring season on February 22, as they travel to Goodyear, Arizona for the Loyola Intercollegiate.
